KENO Gliwice – nowa siedziba

Location: Gliwice
Workstations: 85
Area: 2200 m2
Design: ER.DESIGN

KENO's new headquarters in Gliwice is a unique combination of modern aesthetics, functionality and attention to detail. The interior design, by Ewa Warot's ER.DESIGN studio, perfectly fits into the philosophy of modern office spaces, where work comfort and aesthetics go hand in hand. Our company, HOOF, had the pleasure of providing office furniture and built-ins that fully meet the needs of modern users.

The lobby of the building immediately attracts the attention of visitors. The Comforty brand sofa we supplied is not only comfortable, but also modular, allowing the space to be arranged as desired according to the needs of the users. “We searched for a long time for something that would meet our requirements: the possibility of modular modification, combining seats together with tables, using seats with and without backrests. The Comforty sofa not only meets our various needs, but in addition it is a comfortable piece of furniture, very visually attractive and distinctive,” - says Ewa Warot of ER.DESIGN studio.

A key element of the reception space is also the counter, behind which a wall with the KENO company logo was placed. “The counter, inspired by the dynamic shape of the building, was designed in a functional way, offering work space for several people, while covering the monitors, which promotes visual order.” - adds the architect. A wall behind the counter made of wooden panels of varying depth and width emphasizes the modern character of the space.

Some of the most spectacular elements of KENO's headquarters are the conference and training rooms of impressive height: 9 and 11 meters. “Our goal was to create a space that not only looks stunning, but also provides excellent acoustics. We wanted all meeting participants to be able to comfortably hear conversations and actively participate in discussions, while at the same time ensuring that the sound did not penetrate into neighboring rooms.” - says Ewa Warot. This was achieved through the use of Feltdecor acoustic panels. “The panels used for the cladding not only blend perfectly into the space, but also have an important acoustic function. Heradesign claddings used, among others, in conference rooms, attenuate sound by up to 80%, which definitely increases the comfort of work,” - Rafal Piecuch, Managing Director of Feltdecor brand, tells us. The open space areas are used for group meetings. “In order to make employees feel comfortable and at the same time be able to work freely, we decided to equip these spaces with high stools and hookers, as well as acoustic booths and sofas that provide acoustic separation,” - says Ewa Warot of the ER.DESIGN studio.

The architect also points out that each floor has a place to make coffee and eat breakfast. “The kitchenette is distinguished by its thoughtful design. The triangular-shaped kitchen island blends perfectly with the body of the building, and the wooden frames surrounding the food preparation area bring a warm, cozy touch to the common space.” - she adds. The building also features public terraces, and behind the building, green space and an additional meeting room.

The meeting room on the second floor is designed with an extremely elegant and functional built-in closet that flows seamlessly into the wall cladding. This enclosure provides ample storage space while being almost invisible, which adds elegance and a minimalist feel to the interior. The free-standing furniture provided by our company should not be overlooked either, including the AXY tables and In Access chairs in the VIP room, which bring elegant minimalism to the interior. In turn, the furniture from Wuteh, Bejot and Comforty, as well as the Orte Bejot chairs found in the other rooms, guarantee high comfort of use and perfectly match the aesthetics of the office.
